One screen, two players
TwoSide is a collection of twenty games made for two people sharing one device. No second phone, no accounts, no connection between devices. Put a phone or tablet on the table between you and play.
They are HTML5 games, so they run in the browser with nothing to install, and they work on phones, tablets and computers.
Three ways to play
In the play at once games, both of you play at the same moment. The screen is split in two, and on a touchscreen the far half is turned round so the person opposite can read it. Air Hockey and Tap Tug are good ones to start with.
The take turns games are classic pass-and-play: Dots and Boxes, Five in a Row and others you may remember from paper and pencil.
The hide and guess games involve a secret. One of you chooses something the other cannot see, with a handover screen so the device can change hands safely.
Keeping score between you
Type your two names into the scoreboard at the top of this page. From then on, every finished game adds a win to one side or the other, and the running total follows you from game to game. It is saved in the browser on this device and nowhere else. You can clear it whenever you like and start a new rivalry.
On a computer
Most of the games also work with one keyboard, each player using their own keys. The keys are listed on every game page. The split-screen games are at their best on a touchscreen, where you can both press at once.
